About This Game

Welcome to Off-World Prospecting, a game about delving into the soil and sediment of the mysterious colony world L 98-59 b. You will discover artifacts of a lost human age, and dig and mine while upgrading your gear, and earn your keep exporting your goods for sale. Prepare to investigate mysterious signals from detected beacons transmitting underground. Finding what they hold will be the key to learning more. You'll be able to dig into and transform the land as you progress!

Your new home awaits! The corporate headquarters, for L 98-59 b, is in orbit but at your service. You will work out of your pre-fabricated BrightHope(TM) mobile prospecting outpost unit. We are pleased to have you as our eighth prospector here on L 98-59 b.

As with your peers, your outpost was built on top of an older outpost of the pre-war terraforming era. Of course, that failed terraforming attempt did change the landscape quite a bit, and anything of theirs is now below the new surface of the planet. 

You're encouraged to dig and find any artifacts from that bygone era and of course, mine for resources. We will happily compensate you for each artifact and of course pay you for the valuable items you mine.
