About This Game

Step into the shoes of a college student working the late shift at a small, eerie bicycle shop. Presented in a first-person perspective with retro PS1-style graphics, this psychological horror experience captures the unsettling atmosphere of a bygone era. What begins as a routine night of repairs soon spirals into a battle for the mind, as strange occurrences blur the line between reality and paranoia. Can you make it through the shift, or will the shop break you down?

Gameplay Mechanics

This first-person, PS1-inspired horror game places players inside the walls of a bicycle shop, where they'll explore, interact with objects, and carry out maintenance tasks while uncovering unsettling clues. As the night progresses, the calm atmosphere gives way to something far more disturbing. The environment becomes increasingly oppressive, forcing players to pay close attention to their surroundings, decode cryptic messages, and make choices that warp their perception of reality.

The pixelated, low-resolution aesthetic evokes the nostalgic yet haunting vibe of classic survival horror, while immersive sound design intensifies the unease with every creak, whisper, and flickering light.

About the Developer

This is the debut project from an independent solo developer driven by a passion for atmospheric, narrative-driven horror. Drawing inspiration from retro classics and psychological tension, the goal is to create experiences that leave players uneasy, intrigued, and eager for more. Out of Gear is just the beginning.
