You enter a place that feels strangely familiar, like a dream you once had and forgot. With friends, you search through what was left behind fragments of memories, broken spaces, unfinished records. There’s no one guiding you, no rules to follow. Just the question of whether you can find a way out…

About This Game

You are a newly assigned researcher, sent to investigate the disappearance of those who came before you.
The previous research team vanished without explanation, leaving behind scattered records, unfinished work, and fragments of truth buried within the Backrooms.

Your task is simple in theory:
collect what remains, piece together their records, and find a way out.
But the deeper you go, the more the environment begins to twist—spaces fold unnaturally, memories bleed into reality, and what was once familiar no longer feels safe.

This is not a test.
There is no experiment.
Only what was left behind.

The Last Record can be experienced alone or with up to 4 players online.
Whether you explore solo or alongside others, the story remains the same.

Working together allows you to search faster, solve complex puzzles, and survive encounters that would be overwhelming alone.
But cooperation is never forced—every discovery, every decision, and every consequence is shared.

In the end, it’s not about how many of you enter.
It’s about who makes it out.

Progress is driven by investigation and puzzle solving.
You will uncover documents, recordings, and environmental clues left behind by the missing researchers.

Each record reveals part of what happened and what went wrong.
The truth is fragmented, and understanding it requires careful observation, logical thinking, and attention to the environment itself.

Nothing is given freely.
Every answer must be earned.

The Backrooms are not empty.

Former researchers still roam these spaces changed.
Exposed to entities native to the Backrooms, they have become distorted by contamination, grief, and unresolved resentment.

They recognize you.
Not as colleagues but as replacements.

Driven by twisted empathy and anger, they will hunt you down, believing that no one should escape what they could not.

Avoid them.
Outmaneuver them.
Survive them.

The Backrooms do not follow human logic.
Spaces bend, dimensions overlap, and reality feels increasingly dreamlike the longer you remain.

Your goal is not to conquer this place
only to escape it, with the truth intact.

But some records were never meant to be found.
And some exits come at a cost.
