Survive the Pergola

A civilization in a bottle, the starship Pergola carried everything its crew would need for a generations-long voyage: living quarters, hospitals, bars, libraries, reactors, farms, factories, and so much more, now all gone to seed.

Pick your way through ruined halls and corridors in your hunt for resources. Craft and scavenge what you need to survive. Make use of all technology at your disposal, restoring power to doors using computer terminals or fashioning weapons from metal shards and plant stems. Defend yourself against the ship’s horrors new and old: hazardous materials, collapsing structures, broken airlocks, and the over-evolved descendants of its original plant life.

With each attempt, the details of the ship change. The undergrowth spreads differently, doors break or open, medkits are spoiled or water pipes cease to function. Even as your knowledge of the Pergola grows, each run presents a new set of challenges.

Make this your home

There’s more to life than just staying alive. In addition to hunger, thirst, and shelter needs, you must balance your comfort and happiness. Build a home wherever you can: an abandoned air duct, an office supply closet, or a leafy hovel by a reactor cooling pool. Furnish your dwelling with cozy furniture and decorate it with strange artifacts to boost your morale.

Those who came before

In the late 20th century, the brutality of capitalism reached its zenith. Amidst popular uprisings and military expansions, a cadre of artists, scientists, and controversial financiers in the autonomous San Francisco Bay founded the Acorn Starship Collective. Visionaries to some, gutless cowards to others, the ASC launched the Pergola towards an exoplanet with speculated life-sustaining capability, a dozen generations away.

You know nothing of this. Your eyes have never seen these long dead founders, and your feet have never known the soil of Earth. Your world is one of cold steel bulkheads, winding jungle corridors, and the groan of unfamiliar machinery. You are alone. What happened to this place?

Face the jungle together

Explore and survive with friends in co-op-focused PvPvE multiplayer, either peer-to-peer or with player-hosted servers. Band together to tackle dangerous expeditions, spread the load of base management, or interfere with your friends’ attempts at survival. Even playing solo, you’re bound to encounter unlikely interspecies allies amongst the Pergola’s jungles…

Shape the world

Our game director originates from the modding community of Project Zomboid, which has inspired us to center customization and player agency in this new title. The full game includes Dandelion Void’s custom map editor and its robust Lua API.

Create and modify maps, import custom clothing and weapons, or dream up whole new Lua-scripted scenarios and biomes. Dandelion Void is a game made by modders, for modders.
