“better.game is playable now: full 25-player online matches with building, editing, fighting, movement and customization. We want real players in real matches to show us what feels good and what doesn't, so we can tune the game to how people actually play.”

“About 3 to 24 months, depending on player counts.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Early access will have more frequent and potentially large changes of in-game tuning, movement speed, projectile speed, etc. Full version will have infrequent and small changes of in-game tuning.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Fully playable online on windows: 25-player matches, building and editing, loadouts, loot, movement items and vehicles, reboots, death replays, leaderboards and hundreds of cosmetics. Controller supported. Expect minor bugs, balance changes and frequent updates. Every player-facing change is listed in the launcher's changelog.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No. better.game is free to play during and after early access, with optional in-game purchases.”

About This Game

A fully customizable build-fighter battle royale, done better.

What makes it better? Lots of things, but mostly it's no lag and no ping advantage.

Build. Place builds in the middle of a fight. Edit any piece and go through.

Fight. Pick your loadout. Swing your bat and break builds. Loot chests for consumables and throwables.

Reboot. Watch an in-game replay after you die, then get back in.

Move. Jetpack, glider, grapple, ascender, teleport and boost. Rocket sled or dune buggy. Walk, jump, and run.

Replays. In-game replays after every fight you lose. Replays of online games, streaming live or downloaded later.

Look. Fully customizable. Hundreds of cosmetics including skins, hair, helmets, shoes, gliders, emotes, stickers, sounds and more.

Play. Free to play, with optional in-game purchases. Servers in North America, South America, Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia/Oceania. Keyboard and mouse or controller.
