END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT

This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal agreement between you ("you" or "User") and Eggcode Games ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") for the video game Mad Television Tycoon, including any patches, updates, downloadable content, manuals, and related materials we provide for it (collectively, the "Game").

By purchasing, downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Game, you agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Game.

This Agreement supplements the Steam Subscriber Agreement and any other platform-specific terms that apply to your use of Steam and your Steam account.

1. LICENSE GRANT

Subject to your compliance with this Agreement, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to install and use the Game for your own personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes on devices you own or control, solely as permitted by Steam and applicable law.

The Game is licensed, not sold.

2. LICENSE RESTRICTIONS

You may not, except where applicable law expressly permits despite this limitation:

a. copy, reproduce, distribute, publish, publicly display, sell, rent, lease, sublicense, or otherwise commercially exploit the Game;
b. reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, translate, adapt, or create derivative works of the Game;
c. remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices;
d. use cheats, bots, automation software, exploits, or unauthorized third-party tools to modify or interfere with the Game;
e. use the Game in violation of any applicable law or regulation;
f. use the Game in any way that infringes our rights or the rights of any third party.

3. OWNERSHIP

The Game and all related intellectual property rights, including all code, visuals, audio, design, text, trademarks, and other content, are owned by the Company and/or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Except for the limited license granted in this Agreement, no right, title, or interest in or to the Game is transferred to you.

4. STEAM AND THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Your use of the Game through Steam may also be subject to Valve’s Steam Subscriber Agreement and Steam’s policies and functionality. We are not responsible for Steam services or third-party services except as required by applicable law.

The Game may also include or rely on third-party software, middleware, or services. Those components may be subject to separate legal terms.

5. UPDATES, PATCHES, AND CHANGES

We may provide patches, updates, bug fixes, balancing changes, or other modifications to the Game. Some updates may be required for continued use of the Game or certain features.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the Game at any time. This does not affect any mandatory rights you may have under applicable consumer law.

6. UNREAL ENGINE NOTICE

The Game uses Unreal Engine. Unreal Engine code and related Epic materials are licensed only as incorporated into the Game and only for use in connection with the Game.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, all Unreal Engine-related licensed technology is provided "as is," "as available," and "with all faults," and any representations, warranties, conditions, and liabilities relating to the Unreal Engine licensed technology are expressly disclaimed.

Epic Games, Inc. and its licensors are not responsible for, and shall have no liability arising out of or related to, the Game, except as may be required by applicable law.

7. CLOUD SAVES AND ONLINE STORAGE

If the Game supports cloud saving or similar online storage features, game data, save files, and related information may be stored on servers operated by Steam and/or our service providers. We do not guarantee the continued availability, integrity, recovery, or retention of any save data or cloud-stored content.

8. USER-GENERATED CONTENT AND MODS

If the Game permits mods, Workshop items, or other user-generated content ("UGC"), you are solely responsible for any UGC you create, upload, share, or use.

You may not upload or distribute any UGC that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, obscene, malicious, or otherwise objectionable.

We may remove, disable, or restrict access to UGC at any time, with or without notice, if we believe it violates this Agreement, applicable law, platform rules, or the rights of any third party.

Unless prohibited by applicable law, by uploading or submitting UGC in connection with the Game, you grant the Company a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt, display, distribute, and use that UGC solely for the operation, support, promotion, and improvement of the Game.

9. FEEDBACK

If you provide suggestions, ideas, bug reports, or other feedback regarding the Game, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free right to use that feedback for any purpose without compensation to you.

10. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE GAME IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITH ALL FAULTS AND WITHOUT WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY.

WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, QUIET ENJOYMENT, ACCURACY, AND AVAILABILITY.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE GAME WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR COMPATIBLE WITH EVERY DEVICE, SYSTEM, OR CONFIGURATION, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.

NOTHING IN THIS AGREEMENT EXCLUDES OR LIMITS ANY NON-WAIVABLE STATUTORY RIGHTS YOU MAY HAVE UNDER APPLICABLE CONSUMER LAW.

11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE COMPANY OR ITS LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE GAME OR THIS AGREEMENT.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF THE COMPANY AND ITS LICENSORS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE GAME OR THIS AGREEMENT SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE GAME.

SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN DISCLAIMERS OR LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

12. TERMINATION

This Agreement is effective until terminated. It will terminate automatically if you materially breach it.

Upon termination, your license to use the Game ends immediately, and you must stop using the Game and delete all copies of it, except to the extent continued access is allowed through Steam or required by applicable law.

13. GOVERNING LAW

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of Germany, NRW, excluding its conflict of laws rules.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Vlotho, Germany, unless mandatory consumer protection law provides otherwise.

14. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of this Agreement is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect to the maximum extent permitted by law.

15. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and the Company regarding the Game, except for any applicable platform terms, privacy policy, or additional terms expressly incorporated by reference.
