Why Early Access?

“The foundation of the core gameplay loop and mechanics is already in place. However, I believe there is still room for improvement in helping players understand how the different systems connect and what they are working toward.

I'm also aware that the game's balance and overall progression need further refinement.

Through Early Access, I hope to gather valuable feedback from players and use it to create a more intuitive, cohesive, and enjoyable gameplay experience.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I currently expect Early Access to last anywhere from several months to around a year. However, this timeline may change depending on development progress and player feedback.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“For the full release, I plan to refine and rework existing systems, adjust and introduce new cards, improve game balance, add boss content, and implement various quality-of-life improvements.

One of my main goals is to create a more cohesive experience where different systems and content feel naturally connected, making the overall progression more meaningful and enjoyable.

These plans may evolve throughout Early Access based on player feedback.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current version includes the following features:

4 base classes, each with its own final evolution paths

Cooperative multiplayer for up to 4 players

A standard 20-wave mode and an Endless Mode

A leaderboard ranking system

An account-wide currency system for purchasing passive upgrades

While the core gameplay systems are implemented and playable, certain aspects of balance, progression, and overall gameplay flow still need further improvement.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“I have no plans to increase the base price during Early Access or after the full release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I'm already actively communicating with players through the Steam Community and the official Discord server, with Discord currently being the primary platform for direct communication.

There is a dedicated feedback channel where players can share their thoughts, suggestions, and concerns. I regularly review this feedback and use it to identify areas that need improvement.

I also occasionally conduct polls on Discord to gather community opinions on various aspects of the game.

I hope to continue working closely with the community throughout Early Access to make Horde Arena a better experience for everyone.”
