“Place of Death

Every death leaves a scar upon the world.
When a run ends, a mysterious location may appear where the hero met their fate. Entering this place allows future adventurers to confront what remains of the fallen soul.
Ancient powers dwell there, offering forbidden bargains, unique rewards, and choices that may alter the course of an entire run.
Some doors should remain closed.



Fate Customization

Before entering the world, you may choose how fate unfolds.
Spend points to influence your journey: discover new cards, encounter additional Pact Rooms, visit merchants, or extend the length of your adventure.
Those seeking greater power may accept burdens and curses in exchange for additional points. Stronger enemies, deadlier encounters, and unforeseen dangers await those willing to tempt fate.
The world can be shaped to your liking.
Whether it becomes easier or far more terrifying is entirely your decision.

Hostile forces roam the world map, hunting, wandering, and sometimes blocking the very roads you planned to take. Their movements can transform familiar routes into dangerous detours.
Yet among the darkness travel mysterious caravans, carrying rare cards and valuable treasures for those who manage to find them.
No path remains predictable for long. The world moves with or without you.



Witch's Cauldron

Not all cards are destined to remain as they are.
During your journey, you may encounter the mysterious Witch's Cauldron. By offering three identical cards, you can fuse them together and create a more powerful version.
Transform common discoveries into valuable treasures, strengthen your favorite abilities, and unlock new possibilities for your deck.
Some ingredients are worth more than others.”

“Core systems are in place and playable: map progression, deckbuilding between battles, evolving card phases, and tactical combat encounters. Some content and polish layers are still in progress.”

Draw of Destiny is a dark fantasy roguelite deckbuilder built around tactical adaptation and evolving cards.

Choose your path, scout upcoming enemies, and rebuild your 15-card combat deck before each fight.

EARLY ACCESS

The core gameplay loop is fully playable. We are now focused on polishing UX, balancing cards and enemies, improving onboarding, and expanding content with community feedback.

DYNAMIC DECK-BUILDING

You select the path on the map, and choose the deck of 15 cards for the fight. Unused cards stay in your library. You can preview the upcoming enemies and optimize your deck accordingly.

CARD "TECH TREES"

Cards have a tech-tree like structure.  Many have three different phases and upgrade when being played, so you get different effects early or late in a fight.

Cards can spawn other cards---into yours or the enemy's cards. Plus, they can also spawn creatures, good or bad.

(Fire is regarded a creature, too)

COMPLEX CREATURES

Creatures have their own deck of cards, which defines their basic behavior. Respawning creatures come into play, when the creature's health drops to zero.

You embark on a brutal quest for revenge, but as you cut through the daemons ruling the land, you uncover a far more terrible truth—one that challenges everything you believed about the world, your fate, and yourself.

The world of Draw of Destiny is one of loss, sacrifice, and choices that shape destiny itself. Will you break the cycle? Or will you become the very thing you swore to destroy?
