Cordels & Spells is a thrilling action roguelike inspired by the culture of cordel literature and set in 19th-century Ceará. Get ready to explore procedurally generated maps, face off against gangs of cangaceiros, and recover the Enchanted Cordels, magical artifacts that hold the history and essence of Cangasvale.

A Land Full of Magic and Danger

The region of Cangasvale has been overtaken by Ferrozé and his commanders, who spread chaos using the stolen cordels. You take on the role of Jesuino and Aurora Carcará, fearless warriors fighting to restore peace and preserve the rich culture of the sertanejo people.
