About This Game

Turn based combat with immersive Shooting

The core gameplay of Galactic Space Guard is turn-based tactical combat. Position your units cleverly, take aim, and eliminate enemy forces.
What sets it apart is a unique twist: the shooting mechanics feel more like a third-person shooter than a traditional tactics game. You manually aim with each squad member, and every shot is calculated individually, taking into account line of sight, weapon properties, unit stats, and your mouse or controller movement.

No more frustrating 95% hit chances that miss at point-blank range!
In addition, the combat is faster-paced. Enemy turns are processed in groups, which greatly reduces waiting time and creates a smooth, dynamic game flow.

Extract from procedural generated maps

Every mission takes place on procedurally generated levels, ensuring a fresh experience with each playthrough.
The loot system is inspired by extraction shooters: you start with limited gear and must find better weapons, armor, and equipment during missions. Successfully upgrading your squad feels rewarding but a failed mission can set you back. This creates constant tension, while still offering ways to recover and rebuild your team if things go wrong.

Survival & Squad management

Manage limited food supplies, medical resources for healing and curing injuries, ammunition, and equipment. Gain experience to unlock new abilities for your guardists and tailor their loadouts for upcoming missions.

Defend Humanity

Between tactical missions, you take command of your spaceship and travel across the galaxy. Visit space stations, derelict vessels, asteroids, and more. Recruit new soldiers, trade, upgrade equipment, and respond to dynamic events. This strategic layer connects the tactical missions and drives your overall campaign. Every successful operation brings you closer to defeating the invasion that is spreading across the galaxy.
Reclaim lost colonies, destroy alien breeding grounds, rescue civilians, and push the invaders back. Don’t let them take what’s ours!
