Echo’s Cry blends fast-paced hack-and-slash combat with rhythm-game precision. Fight through demonic hordes, dash between incoming attacks, and strike to the beat of an original orchestral soundtrack.

In a dark world inspired by Victorian England, Echo discovers a forgotten instrument that unlocks music’s lost power. Wield it against the demons that have overrun their village, uncover the past, and reclaim their home.

Rhythm-Based Combat

Use light clarinet attacks to build Heat, then spend it on powerful heavy strikes. Save six Heat Points to unleash devastating drum abilities on special beats. Chain attacks into combos while balancing timing, positioning, and evasion.

Upgrades That Reward Your Timing

Collect randomized passive upgrades that add effects such as burning, bleeding, and freezing to your attacks. Stay on beat to build your combo meter and activate stronger effects, turning precise timing into greater power.

Character Progression

Earn XP and choose upgrades to damage, health, armor, movement, dashing, knockback, and Heat capacity. Shape Echo around your playstyle, then spend gold at the village shopkeeper on health, armor, and experience potions.

Five Levels. Seven Enemy Types.

Battle through five levels of escalating enemy waves. Adapt to seven distinct enemy types that test your timing and movement, meet the village’s inhabitants, and discover writings that reveal its troubled history.

Master Each Encounter

Push beyond survival and aim for an S+ rank. Better timing earns higher scores, while stronger performances reward bonus gold and XP. Refine your combos and make every encounter a better performance.
