Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Our goal is to keep Hellborn in Early Access until we feel it delivers the full, polished experience we envision. While we can't commit to a fixed timeline, we anticipate staying in Early Access for at least a year, depending on community feedback and the scope of additional content.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The plan for the full version is to feature more maps, rituals, and demonic threats to ensure every playthrough feels fresh and terrifying. We also plan to expand character customization, add new mechanics tied to the ghost plane, and improve AI behaviors to make the banshee and demon baby even more unpredictable. Additionally, we want to optimize performance, enhance visual effects, and refine gameplay mechanics based on player feedback.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version of Hellborn includes the core co-op experience, with players performing rituals, evading the banshee, and navigating the ghost plane after death. The haunting system is fully functional, with dynamic AI aggression, and the exorcism mechanic is already in place. While the game is fully playable, some content—such as additional environments, expanded lore, and new gameplay mechanics—is still in development.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, we plan to gradually increase the price as we add more content and features. Players who join during Early Access will get the game at a lower price while also helping shape its development.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to actively engage with the community through our Discord. Regular updates will highlight improvements based on player input, and we may introduce public test builds to allow players to experience upcoming features before they go live. Our goal is to make Hellborn a terrifying yet rewarding co-op horror experience shaped by those who play it.”
