“The game will remain in Early Access until it’s fully developed, and the timeline will evolve based on community feedback and the work ahead. My current goal is to reach full release in Q2/Q3 2026. I truly appreciate your patience and understanding as I work toward delivering the best experience possible.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“My vision is for Banana Keeper to be fun for everyone, with plans for:

  • More Items to play with
  • Better graphics
  • Better performance
  • Almost bug free :)

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is fully playable and includes 5 finished levels, final graphics, and a complete gameplay loop. All core features are already implemented in the Early Access version. For the full release, I plan to add more levels and expand gameplay features.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“I plan to gradually raise the price as I ship new content and features in full version. During Early Access, the price will remain the same.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I value community feedback a lot and will work with players to improve the game either on the Steam community page or our Discord server.”

About This Game

One player takes the role of the Guard, while 1–7 others play as mischievous Monkeys. The jungle is filled with NPC monkeys, and player Monkeys must hide among them and act naturally to avoid suspicion.

Each round runs on a timer. The Monkeys must feed on bananas, while the Guard tries to expose them, put them into sleep, before time runs out. Putting an NPC monkey to sleep makes the clock tick faster. If the Monkeys finish all the bananas or survive until the timer ends, the Monkeys win. If the Guard uncovers them all in time, the Guard wins.

Blend In

The islands are packed with harmless NPC monkeys, and your survival depends on blending seamlessly with them.

Scratch Marks

Only real player Monkeys have the speed to run, but sprinting comes at a cost. Your rapid steps leave fresh scratch marks on the ground, creating a trail the Guard can easily follow.

Banana Crates

Eating bananas keeps you alive, but every bite sends a signal that makes the Guard more aware of your presence. Choose the right time and place to snack, or you might find yourself cornered.

Fart Stun

When all else fails, let one rip! A sudden, blinding fart will stun the Guard and buy you precious seconds to escape. It’s silly, but it just might save your tail.

Branches

Branches are silent traitors waiting to give you away. Step on them and the sharp sound will instantly alert the Guard to your location. Move carefully and plan your route if you want to stay hidden.

Banana Radar

Can be cleverly sabotaged by Monkeys. Once broken, it emits a loud, irritating noise and speeds up the round’s timer, creating chaos. The Guard can repair it, so keep the pressure on.

Immortality Totem

While you stand inside the glowing aura of this ancient totem, the Guard’s weapons are useless against you. Carrying it, however, neutralizes its power until you place it down. Use it as a safe zone.

Magic Heal Banana

If a teammate has been put to sleep, a quick bite from the Magic Heal Banana will bring them back into the game. It can turn the tide of a round.

Flashlight of Truth

Shine this powerful beam on any Monkey that looks suspicious. If the target is a player in disguise, their eyes will flare a menacing red, instantly exposing their true identity.

Dream Glow Gun

This strange dream-powered blaster puts Monkeys into a deep sleep. Aim carefully, though—hitting the wrong NPC shortens the timer.
