Out of the Shadows is an online cooperative horror game, where exploration, stealth and communication are your only means of escape. Plunged into dark and strangely well-preserved locations, you and your team will have to search the premises, solve puzzles and, above all, survive what's lurking around you. Each map is a new place to explore, each building a new story to discover.

But beware: making too much noise, staying on your own or letting your guard down could be fatal.

Helping each other is the key! Some passages require you to split up, guide each other from a distance or make sacrifices to move forward.

Without cooperation, no one will get through...

Out of the Shadows is a chilling experience designed for 2 to 4 players, where communication and mutual support are your only lifelines. You’ll often be separated, sometimes trapped, and always reliant on each other to make progress.

Playing solo? The world automatically adapts, offering a different, but equally intense, experience tailored for one.

Each map throws you into a new unsettling environment: a cursed mansion, a dark forest, an abandoned cabin... Search carefully, interact with your surroundings, and piece together the events that took place.

Every corner might hide a clue... or something far worse.

Solve dynamic, cooperative and puzzles Count objects, decode strange symbols, manipulate light, or even use your voice… Some puzzles require you to split up, others demand flawless teamwork.

There is some asymmetric gameplay: when one is lost in a labyrinth, the other sees the path. When one is trapped, the other holds the key. Some challenges will test you against the environment but only true teamwork will lead you through

No overused jumpscares here. The threat is constant and ever-present. Sound design, lighting, unsettling environments, and cryptic stories combine to create a thick tension where every mistake can be fatal.
