왜 앞서 해보기를 진행하나요?

“Gunlocked 2 is my largest game ever, with my longest development schedule. As a solo developer, player engagement and feedback is the perfect way to help me decide what to make next, and what still needs work without falling victim to personal bias over such a long period.

Gunlocked 2 is all about player choice, customization, and replayability, and I want your help with all of it. From upgrades, to bosses, achievements, and more, your feedback will help me create and test a wide variety of new content (and possibly even modes).”

얼마나 오래 앞서 해보기를 진행할 계획인가요?

“The plan is for 7-9 months of additional development in Early Access.”

정식 버전은 앞서 해보기 버전과 어떻게 달라지나요?

“I plan to add a huge variety of new content including (but not limited to): weapons, pilots, ships, events, enemies, bosses, achievements, and music.”

앞서 해보기 버전은 현재 어떤 상태인가요?

“The current version includes a full gameplay loop from start to finish with multiple bosses, playable characters, and dozens upon dozens of upgrades. There's more content than is possible to try in a single playthrough.

There is also a Simulator Mode that allows players to practice with all of the content they've previously unlocked to master boss fights, and create unimaginable builds.”

“I plan to increase the price of Gunlocked 2 when it's ready to exit Early Access.”

“The community will have the opportunity to communicate directly with me through the Steam forums or externally on Discord to offer suggestions for new content, new features, and balance changes.

I treat the development of each of my games like a dialog with my players, both literally and figuratively.”

Movement is your weapon. A sci-fi action roguelike and shmup combined, in Gunlocked 2 you'll pilot and upgrade a state-of-the-art living warship against endless waves of deadly aliens. Deep customization, branching paths, and tons of unlockables offer endless replayability set against the infinity of outer space.

What's New in the Sequel?

Expanded Customization: More unique pilots, unlockable warships with their own strengths and weaknesses, and a hugely expanded upgrade system offer new creative freedom.
- Weapon Mastery: Each pilot has masterful command over their starting weapon, giving them a unique weapon variant no other pilot has access to.
- Pilot Skills: Pilots start with a unique ability, not tied to any equipment slots or weapons, giving them a flair all their own.
- Weapon Enhancements: Every weapon has 4 unique upgrades to choose from to further specialize as you play.
- Augments: Unlock and equip up to 6 ability modifiers before you start your run. Will you cover your weaknesses or lean into your strengths.
- Utilities: Discover common, uncommon, and rare upgrades that you can stack infinitely to create the perfect build. Make trades with special characters to refine your builds like never before.
Refined Control: Every ship comes equipped with an active dodge ability for getting out of the most dangerous situations. Use the new "Air Brake" to make micro-adjustments to positioning when the bullets start flying. And 360-degree analog movement brings Gunlocked out of the retro era and firmly into the present.
Branching Paths: Periodically choose a warp gate and seamlessly jump to your chosen destination without ever pausing the gameplay. Different zones offer unique battles and rewards. Every run offers new choices!
Modular Difficulty: Activate any number of difficulty modifiers until you find the sweet spot for your mood.
Multiple Game Modes: Get the full RPG experience in Mission Mode, or go crazy in short bursts with Turbo
Leaderboards: Compete with friends, or globally. Track your personal best high scores locally too!
Save and Resume: Play for 2 minutes or 20, then resume from where you left off in Mission mode.
Glorious Pixel Art Revolution: Huge, full color sprites with detailed animations make every bullet, bomb, and laser explode with style. Gunlocked 2 is a massive leap forward in pixel art spectacle.
