About This Content

Home to the Las Vegas Radio Control Club, William Bennett RC Airfield is named after Bill Bennett, who owned several Nevada casinos and was a major RC enthusiast.

 

Located on the Eastern Edge of the Las Vegas Valley, this field offers pilots a beautiful desert backdrop across the runway. It is the historic home of the Tournament of Champions, an invitation-only contest that offered pilots unrivaled cash prizes. This spectator-friendly event raised the profile of model aerobatics. Now you can fly here too!

 

This PhotoField uses a spherical photograph of the location, then adds extensive depth-mapping to allow your aircraft to interact with the ground and other objects.
