What happens when two people try to drive the same RC car? Pure chaos.

You drive left. They drive right. Straight? Only if you're both on the same page.

In Shared RC, you and a friend share control of a single remote-controlled car. One of you steers the left wheels, the other the right — and neither of you can drive it alone. Press forward on your own and you'll pull the car sideways; the only way to actually go straight is if you're both compensating for each other at the exact same moment. It's rarer than it sounds.

Chill - Shared, frequent checkpoints mean zero real consequences — the whole group fails together, at the same time, and shares the blame equally. Nobody's actually behind; you're all just bad together. Jokes aside, this mode is perfect if you can handle a bit of rage-game frustration and just want to have fun with friends.

Normal - No shared checkpoints. If you're ahead, congratulations, now you get to sit there and wait for your friends to catch up — or don't, and let the resentment build naturally. Built for friend groups who secretly want to race and pretend it's co-op.

Hardcore - Same as Normal, but there's only one checkpoint per map/world. One. So if you fall near the end, you're doing the whole thing again, and so is everyone else, and everyone knows exactly whose fault it is.

Each mode keeps its own separate save — so switching from Hardcore to Chill won't save you from the progress you already rage-quit on.

Unlock new cars and plush to make your chaos look good. Equip different cars as you unlock them, then decorate with plush — front, back, or riding on top — so everyone can see exactly whose car is about to go flying.

This is a rage game. You will get mad. Your friend will get mad. At some point you will both be mad at each other simultaneously, over a car, that isn't real, in a game, that you paid for voluntarily.

Here's the thing though — rage games are usually a solo sport. You fall, you scream, you blame yourself, you try again. We thought: what if there were two of you to blame instead? Turns out that's a lot more fun. Nothing hits quite like turning to your friend after falling off a cliff for the eighth time and going "that was YOU" while knowing, deep down, it was actually you.

So yes, you will rage. You will also laugh, mostly at your friend's suffering, occasionally at your own. That's the deal. That's the whole game.
