What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Early Access is the perfect avenue for us to collaborate directly with our player community as we refine and expand the game. While we've built a solid foundation, we believe that incorporating player feedback during this crucial development phase will help us create the best possible experience. This approach allows us to identify and prioritize the features that matter most to our players, catch potential issues early, and ensure our design decisions align with player expectations. Early Access gives us the flexibility to iterate based on real player experiences rather than assumptions.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We anticipate spending some months in Early Access. This timeline allows us to properly implement and polish some features while incorporating community feedback. However, we believe in prioritizing quality over rigid deadlines – if certain features need additional development time to meet our standards, or if community feedback leads us to expand our plans, we may adjust this timeline.
Our roadmap includes quarterly updates, each focusing on specific aspects of the game. This structured approach helps ensure steady progress while remaining flexible enough to adapt based on player feedback and development challenges.
Rest assured, we won't rush the development process or cut planned features to meet an arbitrary deadline. Our priority is delivering a complete, polished game that lives up to both our vision and our community's expectations.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Our roadmap includes an increase of business development features, while some elements may need to be better balanced or tuned up.
While we have a clear vision for additions, we're keeping some flexibility in our plans to incorporate valuable community feedback during the Early Access period.
Our goal is to have the full version feel like a substantial evolution of the Early Access version, rewarding early supporters with a richer and more polished experience while staying true to the core gameplay they helped shape.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current Early Access version delivers an almost complete and polished core gameplay experience related to shop management, all content and functionalities detailed in the 'About This Game' section of the store page.
All fundamental systems are in place and thoroughly tested. While you may occasionally encounter some minor bugs or placeholder assets, these don't impact the core gameplay experience.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to gradually increase the price as we polish the game or add substantial new content and features throughout Early Access. The initial Early Access price represents a special opportunity for early supporters to get involved at a lower price point while helping shape the game's development. Players who join us in Early Access will receive all updates through full release at no additional cost. We believe this approach fairly rewards our early community members while reflecting the growing value of the game as it expands.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“First, we'll maintain an active presence on our Steam forums and Discord server, where our development team will regularly engage in discussions about upcoming features and gather feedback on existing mechanics. We are considering hosting bi-weekly dev blogs detailing our progress and future plans, giving the community insight into our development process and the reasoning behind our decisions.
We're also setting up a structured feedback system where players can report bugs, suggest features, and vote on community proposals through our project management tools. This helps us prioritize development based on community needs while maintaining a clear vision for the game. Additionally, we'll run periodic beta branches for testing major updates before they go live, allowing interested players to help us refine new content before general release.”

About This Game

 Build Your Figurine Empire

Dice 'n Figurines: Business Life Simulator is a sim with a twist: your day and your night are two completely different games. By day, you run a figurine and board game shop - stocking shelves, pricing products, and serving a colorful cast of customers. Once the shutters close, the city's nightlife opens up. Your future depends just as much on who you talk to as what you sell.

Run the Shop

Unpack deliveries, arrange your inventory, and decorate your store to match the crowd you're chasing. Set your own prices in a market driven by real supply and demand. Undercut competitors, corner rare stock, or ride out seasonal price spikes. Every shelf, every price tag, and every piece of décor is a decision that shapes who walks through your door.

Know Your Customers

Not every customer wants the same thing. Casual browsers, bargain-hunting hoarders, picky collectors chasing rare finds, and competitive players hunting for the perfect tabletop piece. Each group behaves differently, and reading the room is another half of the job. Set up a gaming table and watch players sit down to test out your stock in a friendly match.

After Hours: The City Comes Alive

When the shop closes, put down the price gun and pick up a drink. Head into the city's nightlife - a smoky pub, a neon-lit club - and get to know the people who really run things. Every conversation is a chance to build trust, gather insider information, and unlock connections that no marketplace listing can offer.

Build Relationships That Matter

Unique characters remember how you treat them. Favor one loyal customer group and you might alienate another. Reputation is a balancing act, not a straight climb. Complete favors, uncover hints about the market, and unlock exclusive suppliers, rare stock, and shop upgrades only available through the people you know.

Grow From One Shop to an Empire

Start with a single struggling storefront and expand across the city - and eventually, the world. Each new location brings its own customers, its own market conditions, and its own nightlife to navigate.
