What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Iron Pact is launching in Early Access because the core strategy game is in place, and we want to keep building it with real player feedback. The game is designed around a persistent world, so Early Access is a practical way to expand and refine the systems around that core while the game is live.

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect Iron Pact to remain in Early Access for roughly 12 to 18 months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version is planned to be broader and more polished, with more depth in warfare, logistics, alliances, and the persistent world. We expect to improve onboarding, balance, quality-of-life, and the supporting systems around the core strategy loop as development continues.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version is built around a playable core loop focused on territory conflict, supply-line management, alliance coordination, and participation in a persistent shared world. The foundation is playable, while surrounding systems, balance, and supporting features will continue to expand during Early Access.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Iron Pact is planned to remain free to play during and after Early Access. There is currently no plan to introduce an upfront purchase price when the game leaves Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback will play an important role throughout Early Access. We want to learn where the strategy is clear, where the rough edges are, and which improvements create the most value for players. Feedback will help shape balance, usability, and development priorities, while the overall direction of the game remains focused on its core vision. Players will be able to share feedback through the Steam Community hub and discussion forums, and we may also direct players to additional official channels listed on the store page as development continues.”

About This Game

Iron Pact is a free-to-play strategy game about fighting for territory, protecting supply lines, and building fragile alliances in a world shaped by players.

At Early Access launch, you will choose where to establish your foothold, push outward, and hold ground before the next conflict shifts the map against you.

Every campaign is shaped by the players around you. Alliances can open a front or close one. Logistics can keep a border secure or leave it exposed. A safe route today can become a liability tomorrow if the balance of power changes.

Iron Pact is built around four core pillars:

  • Warfare: command forces across a shared world map and fight for territory

  • Alliances: negotiate, cooperate, and adapt as player politics shift

  • Logistics: build and protect the supply lines that keep your expansion moving

  • Persistence: return to a war that keeps changing as the world evolves

Some features will evolve during Early Access as the game grows.

Whether you prefer longer strategy sessions or shorter check-ins, Iron Pact is built for a conflict you can re-enter, reassess, and reshape.
