Why Early Access?

“Early Access is the perfect way to shape Dignaut together with players. As a solo dev, building a deep yet relaxing sci-fi digging sim is a big mission — and getting real feedback early on helps me focus on what really matters. From tool mechanics to terrain variety and the overall feel of progression, I want to make sure every part of Dignaut hits the mark, and that’s only possible by involving the community from day one.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“It’s tough to put an exact number on it, especially as feedback could shift priorities, but the plan is to stay in Early Access for around 6 to 12 months. That gives enough time to expand the game’s systems, add new biomes, and refine the whole experience before a proper 1.0 launch. If it takes a bit longer to get it right, that’s fine — I’m here for the long game.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full release will be a more complete and polished version of everything we build together during Early Access. Expect more game modes, unique terrain types, new sci-fi tools and upgrades, expanded relic discovery, and a deeper storyline as the mystery of the planet unfolds. I also want to improve visuals, UI, and general feel — but I won’t overpromise. The community will help guide what features truly make it into the final cut.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Right now, Dignaut features a complete and functional game mode with meaningful progression and a full gameplay loop. You can dig into alien terrain, uncover hidden relics, earn credits, upgrade your gear, and experience the core systems in action. It’s early, but the foundation is solid and already fun — and every update will continue to build on it.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. Early Access will be available at a lower price to reward those jumping in early and supporting development. The full version will cost more, reflecting the added content, polish, and overall value that grows with each update.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback is everything. From the Steam forums to Discord and social media, I’ll be actively collecting input, running playtests, and sharing roadmaps to keep everyone in the loop. Whether it’s balance suggestions, feature requests, bug reports, or cool relic screenshots — I want to build Dignaut with you, not just for you.”
