Why Early Access?

“Our primary reason for launching in Early Access is to gather player feedback as early as possible, ensuring the experience is both enjoyable and balanced. We believe that active player interaction increases the game’s fun factor and helps maintain long-term sustainability.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We’re aiming for a full release toward the end of the year, but this schedule may shift based on player feedback. Our goal is to make the game as polished as possible; if significant feedback or a need for additional content arises, we’re prepared to spend extra time refining it.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“In the full version, we plan to add side mechanics for diversity, such as theft, bankruptcy recovery, and popularity-reducing strategies. We also aim to include complete voiceovers for the entire game. Additionally, we intend to increase the number and functionality of starting scenarios and blessing/curse cards while fine-tuning game balance before the full release.

We plan to adjust the game according to the visual feedback from the players and especially complete the deficiencies in the animation side in a way that will be arranged in the full version.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version offers fully functional core trading mechanics, including a 25-inflation scenario. Players can buy and sell basic goods across all categories, use curse cards on their rivals, or bless themselves with boon cards. By purchasing mystery boxes from the Luck Shop, they can attract iconic fantasy characters to their shops.

The game can be won through one of three different endings, and players can monitor their competitors' trade flows via the information panel. The Luck Fountain provides access to marketplace mechanics, enabling players to pursue luck-driven factors to expand their strategies.

We are committed to developing special events for significant updates and occasions. This approach ensures that players can delve into the competitive and strategic aspects of the game early on. As the game evolves and becomes more detailed, players will be able to integrate seamlessly with new content thanks to their foundational knowledge of the core mechanics.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Our current plan is to keep the price consistent once we transition out of Early Access. However, if we introduce substantial new content or features, we may consider adjusting the price in stages. The final decision will depend on the scope of updates and improvements we implement.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We believe that feedback from the community is critical for improving the game. Therefore, we plan to regularly interact with players through our official forums, social media channels, and in-game surveys. This will help us understand which elements spark the most interest and identify where improvements are needed. Additionally, we’ll gather community opinions on specific prototypes or new ideas to continuously update and refine the game. However, rather than making firm promises about which additions will happen or providing a strict timeline, we aim to stay flexible and adaptable based on the player experience.”

Welcome to Trade Rivals – Goblin Age, a fantasy world full of goblins, elves, and wizards!

The city of Ranorya is a powerful port city, and the merchants' guild holds a monthly competition for the city's trade license. Merchants who come to the city from outside to trade try to keep their shops afloat for 1 semester, to become the richest or most respected shop, in order to get an annual license.

Run your shop, trade goods, and beat other merchants. Use smart strategies to grow your business and become the richest trader. Will you succeed, or will your rivals win?

In Trade Rivals – Goblin Age, your goal is to become the top merchant. Buy and sell goods, set prices, and stay ahead of your rivals. But be careful!
