“We currently expect Cursed Profit to remain in Early Access until late 2027.
This timeline may change depending on development progress and community feedback.

We want to take the time necessary to expand the game properly rather than rush a full release.”

“During Early Access, we plan to expand Cursed Profit with:

About This Game



CURSED PROFIT


You're not an employee. You're company property.


Cursed Profit is a 1–5 player co-op horror game where you and your crew are sent by the company to explore bizarre, hostile locations and steal valuable loot and antiques. Your job is simple: meet your quota, survive, and return to the facility.


Steal too little, and the company has a problem with you.
Steal too much, and the things lurking below have a problem with you.


Meet your quota to earn your freedom. For now, anyway.

STEAL. MEET YOUR QUOTA. GET OUT.


The company sends you down into strange and dangerous locations to recover valuable items. Your crew descends by elevator, searches for loot, and tries to bring back enough value to satisfy the company's demands.


Once your quota is met, the company permits extraction. Until then, you're on your own.


But meeting the quota is only the beginning. Anything you steal beyond the required amount is profit you get to keep. Push your luck for a bigger payday, or play it safe and make it home alive.


Just remember: there's a reason the company keeps sending you down there.

THE GREED METER


Greed is at the heart of everything. The more you take, the more dangerous your job becomes.


• Stealing loot increases your Greed Meter
• Higher greed makes encounters increasingly difficult
• Push too far, and the horrors below become a much bigger problem
• Meet your quota, but decide for yourself how much extra profit is worth the risk


The company wants its money. You want yours. The things below want you dead.


How greedy are you willing to get?

MADAM PHYLLIS — THE DEBT COLLECTOR


Failure isn't free.


Fail to meet your quota, and Madam Phyllis may come to collect what you're missing. She's the company's Debt Collector, and she doesn't exactly believe in payment plans.


When she comes for her money, you'll have bigger problems than your balance. Survive your punishment, keep your crew alive, and try not to become another company expense.

EVERY ITEM HAS A PRICE


Not everything you find is worth what you think it is. Discover valuable antiques, strange objects, and loot scattered throughout the locations you visit.


Use the grading system to take a chance on your finds. An item's assessed value might drop, leaving you with less than expected — or it might turn out to be worth far more than you thought.


Every item could be the difference between meeting your quota, earning a little extra, or getting a visit from Madam Phyllis.

YOUR PROGRESSION, YOUR PROFIT


Surviving the job is one thing. Getting better at it is another.


• Skill System: Upgrade your character and improve your capabilities
• Prestige System: Reset your progression for generous rewards and another shot at getting even further
• Extra Profit: Anything you earn above your quota is yours to keep


Take bigger risks, improve your character, and see how far you can go. Just don't let the pursuit of profit become your last decision.

CO-OP HORROR (1–5 PLAYERS)


Go in with friends, coordinate your looting, and work together to make it back with enough money to satisfy the company.

Things can get terrifying down there. They can also get absolutely ridiculous.


Expect disturbing locations, unpredictable encounters, and funny AI with a twisted sense of humour. With over 1,000 voice lines, there's plenty of personality to accompany the chaos, the panic, and the questionable decisions your crew will inevitably make.


One moment you're fighting for your life. The next, you're wondering whether the company is somehow the least concerning thing about your job.
