The year is 1998, and 'MALCADE' has been a growing hit amongst arcades due to it's rudimentary 3D graphics, mind-blowing virtual reality functions, and fast-paced violent premise. The surprise hit is popping up in arcades all across the country... but the sleek new cabinet hides a darker secret... a glitch that was never quite patched out of the game. You've been hired to fix it.

SURVIVE THE MACHINE

You’re trapped in a malfunctioning arcade system, and the only way out of it is to play along. Beat the arcade games, win tickets, use them to unlock doors, and keep moving. But every second counts, every death leaves a mark. The longer you stay, the harder it gets to exit as you were. Something’s in here with you... and it doesn’t want you to leave. It's been hungry for far too long.

MALCADE was designed to feel like a playable 90s b-tier horror movie and is a love letter to that era / genre. Find yourself thrown into the middle of government conspiracies, organic machinery, and a surreal science-fiction narrative as your mundane day job becomes a waking nightmare.
