About This Game

Overspelled is a top-down survival rougelite where you play as a wizard gathering arrays of spells to fight hordes of monsters. Summon allies, cast curses and annihilate enemies with magic you are probably unable to wield... or are you?

Unlock Spells & Fight Monsters:

Each spell comes with a set of rules that, when met, upgrade your combat abilities. Scorch enemies with orbiting fireballs, stun them with traps or burn them down with magic beams. As you obliterate foes, collect their souls and choose from dozens of unique, active abilities to control the battlefield. Spells are cast automatically, so you can focus on positioning and aiming.

Combat a variety of evil creatures spawning randomly on a closed arena. Hunt down marked enemies to collect their relics, which evolve your spells in unique ways.

Upgrade:

Enhance your abilities. Spells grant an opportunity for powerful synergies and special evolutions. Upgrades pose challenges that can lead to either your supremacy or your fall. Choose your powers wisely and be sure that no two runs will be the same.

Gather Magic Staffs:

As you play, you permamently unlock magic staffs. Staffs provide unique passive advantages that change the temper of your runs.

Survive!

Will you be able to survive until the boss arrives and hunt it down to claim its soul? Each run a boss spawns after a certain time. Defeat it to win the attempt and make progress.

Features:

• Dozens of unique, auto-activated spells, each with a special evolution.

• Upgrades can put you against challenges that will either help or hinder you.

• Fast runs: between 10 and 25 minutes.

• Survive an increasing onslaught of foes to collect souls and level up.

• Every time you level up, you get to choose one from randomly picked spells and upgrades in the shop.

• Permanently unlockable magic staffs alter the temper of runs.
