You wanted adventure, right?

You sailed with the Adventurers Guild to find new lands, but a storm has other ideas. You awake on the shore of Galanost, an island thought to be only legend. An ancient beacon stands above the beach, and a strange mist hides the island from the rest of the world. How did you end up here?

Make camp, activate the beacon, and start a guild foothold on the island. Clear the land, plant your first crops, cast a line from the shore, and welcome settlers to these new lands. Turn a wild stretch of coast into a living village, on your own or with up to seven friends.

Fell trees, break stone, and craft your first tools. Thankfully, you have a tent to get started which you can upgrade to a timber cabin, and add rooms as you need them. Lay cobblestone paths, bridges, and fences, or reshape the ground itself. Then make it home! Furnish every room your way, set lanterns and keepsakes out on tables or shelves, and hang decorations on walls.

Till, plant, and water crops that each have their own season, then cook what you grow, ship it from the dock or sell it to a resident. Keep hens for eggs and hatch chicks, mill flour, brew ale, and comb the beach for whatever the sea washes up. Make sure your crops are protected! The local wildlife: rabbits, deer, and crows all want a taste, and foxes prowl near the coop at night. Fences, scarecrows, and traps should keep them away but if not, you can always eat them instead!

Fish the open sea, winding rivers, ponds, or lakes. Wait for the bite, work the line, and chase a personal best. Net butterflies and fireflies, raise moths for silk to weave, and fill the museum's cases with each new species you find.  There is of course great interest in these specimens on the mainland so they should fetch a pretty penny too!

Once the beacon's light clears the mist, visitors are able to find the island. Convince them to stay and provide them a home and they may want to open a shop on the island! Build a town hall, a garden shop, a tackle house, a forge, a tavern and more. Get to know your neighbors through gifts, errands and conversations that follow the weather and seasons, and uncover their stories as each friendship grows.

Play solo, or host up to eight players in co-op, yourself included. Invite friends through Steam and they can return to your island whenever you're playing. Split the work or share it: one of you can fish while another tends the fields, or ventures into the mines!  Each player can play their own way.

Beneath the island, the mine shifts every day. Dig for copper, iron and silver, and smelt it at the furnace for stronger tools. Be wary as the creatures that inhabit the mine are not so eager to encounter adventurers in their domain.

Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter each change the island. Blossom drifts in spring and the leaves turn in autumn. In Winter you will have to adapt! Snow settles over everything and the rivers and lakes freeze: lace up your skates, drill a hole for ice fishing, or keep growing in a greenhouse. Mark the calendar for special events and holidays!
