Under The Basement is a first and third-person survival horror experience that takes you deep into a terrifying labyrinth of ancient underground caves, where darkness is only the beginning of your nightmare.

As you search for a way out, you'll need to interact with your surroundings and defend yourself against terrifying creatures.

The game also features immersive, first-person cinematics presented in a found-footage style.

Face disturbing creatures, unpredictable encounters, and terrifying surprises. You never know what might be hiding just beyond the reach of your light.

Every step matters: Running might save your life, but it could also trigger devastating cave collapses. Sometimes survival means knowing when to slow down.

Fight or flee 

Defend yourself with unarmed combat and melee weapons found along the way, but remember that not every enemy can be defeated.

Experience true claustrophobia: Navigate suffocating tunnels, oppressive darkness, sudden scares, and the constant feeling that something is getting closer.

LORE

There are places that were never meant to be discovered, secrets that should have remained buried, and things that should never have been awakened.

During the golden times of smugglers, a group of people used help from magic to protect themselves and the smuggling business. One group went too far and the magic spiraled out of control, devouring the bodies and the soul of those people who abused from that magic.

They lost their humanity and got trapped forever in the ancient caves they once used for smuggling. In the present day, a game developer visits the area surrounding those caves to look for references for his game, but unfortunately, he gets trapped inside them.

He is now stuck in a dark, haunted place where every tunnel hides a new threat, every sound could mean something is approaching, and every step could be his last. He will need to run from the dangers inside, but running can mean the cave collapses.

Would you dare to step into this unfortunate developer's shoes and help him find a way out? But beware: this place and whatever lives within it, don't want you to leave.
