"The Journey to Life" is a Chinese horror and suspense game. The story begins with Chen Ji returning home to attend a funeral, only to unexpectedly encounter ghosts. He initially wants to stay away, but is drawn into the situation due to past entanglements. He then works together with the ghosts to uncover the mystery

... The souls of the dead are trapped in cages, while the living are bound by the past. The town is shrouded in mystery, with causes and effects in a cycle that have no end... The shadow of years past is returning, and someone is constantly luring people in the shadows. In the end, how will the male protagonist make his choice, and who will survive?

 


Game Background

The story takes place in a peaceful town where Chen Ji, who believes he was born with the ability to see ghosts, has always avoided dealing with them. After his grandmother passes away, Chen Ji realizes that his memories and past are different from what he remembers. He unexpectedly encounters a ghost and the two form a bond as they embark on a journey to uncover Chen Ji's true identity. They arrive in another remote town, where strange things abound. The shadow of years past is resurging, with someone constantly luring them in the shadows. In the end, how will the male lead make his choice, and who will survive...
