About This Game

Keyboard Wizards is a fast-paced card battler where every spell is cast by typing it. Build your spell deck, unleash powerful magic, and test your reflexes in battles against the creatures of Philippine folklore.

Type a card's name to cast it. Your hand is five spell cards. Spell one out and it flies — the faster you type, the faster you fight.

Type THEIR spell to counter it. Press Tab to switch to defense, then type the name of the enemy's incoming spell before it lands to cancel it mid-air.

Hold Shift to chain a combo. Queue several spells while holding Shift, then release to unleash them together.

Collect and customize 60+ hand-crafted cut-paper spell cards — fire, frost, hexes, heals, shields and wards. Every card can grow in power, and every win lets you pick a new card for your deck.

Duel the monsters of Philippine legend — the Kapre, the Manananggal, the Tikbalang, the White Lady and many more — each with its own spells, habits and weaknesses. Read their lore and their tactics in the Bestiary before every new fight.

Your typing has a ghost. From round 5 of every run, the game learns how you play: your speed, your accuracy, how often you counter, your combos, your favourite cards, even when you play your legendary. Reach round 15 and that becomes your ghost, fighting other players with your duel deck while you're away.

• Ranked duels: fight ghosts near your rating and climb from Initiate to Archmage.

• Level up your ghost: beat it while typing faster than it, and it takes your speed. After five such wins, it plays your style too.

• House ghosts: twelve of them, so there is always someone to fight.

• Unique Typing Combat: Cast spells and attack enemies by typing their names — speed and accuracy mean victory.

• Counter-Magic: Read the enemy's incoming spell and type it back to cancel it before it lands.

• Build Your Spell Deck: Collect and customize spell cards, discover powerful combos, and create your winning strategy.

• Status Effects & Strategy: Heal, poison, shield, lock their spells, or outwit your foes — timing your typing can mean the difference between victory and defeat.

• PvP Ghost Duels: Your play style becomes a ghost that duels other players while you're away. Climb the ranks, and level your ghost up by beating it.

• Philippine Folklore: Battle creatures and legends from the Philippines, brought to life in a hand-crafted cut-paper style.

• A Wizard's Story: Live the story of a new student at the SIERRA ENCANTADA INSTITUTE of MAGICAL STUDIES as they rise to become the top wizard.
