About This Game

BARREN is an Immersive FPS experience focus on realistic interactions.

Gameplay

  • Explore and clear abandoned infrastructures room by room in grounded, methodical gunfights inspired by classic immersive sims.

  • Physically interact with your environment. Push doors open, breach carefully.

  • Manually handle your firearms: chamber rounds, manage safeties, check magazines, and make sure your weapon is truly ready to fire.

  • Explore Points of Interest to gather fuel, components.

  • Face physically simulated enemies that react to impact, momentum, and force fights feel heavy, unstable, and unpredictable.

Story

You wake up alone in a desert. A storm is building.

Scattered across the world are fragments of something that came before: recorded tapes, abandoned infrastructure, machines still running without purpose.

As you push forward , you begin to understand what happened here and what might still be possible.
