“We believe that fast-paced FPS games are at their best when shaped alongside the people who play them. Early Access allows us to involve the community in Blitzthera’s development from the ground up. By gathering feedback on balance, map design, and gameplay flow, we can make sure Blitzthera feels fun, competitive, and unique. Our goal is to create a game that evolves with player input, and Early Access gives us the chance to experiment, adjust, and improve with the community’s support.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect Blitzthera to remain in Early Access for around 4–5 months. This period will give us enough time to:

Gather feedback on gameplay mechanics and pacing

Expand the number of maps and polish their layouts

Fine-tune weapons, abilities, and character classes

Strengthen stability, performance, and matchmaking

The timeline may shift depending on how much feedback we receive and the amount of iteration needed, but the focus will be on making sure the game feels polished and enjoyable before full release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full release of Blitzthera will expand on the Early Access foundation. Our current vision includes:

More maps and environments to increase variety and strategy

Additional weapons and loadout options, offering more playstyles

Refined class systems (Soldier, Heavy, Medic, Engineer, Sniper) with better balance and abilities

Extra game modes beyond what’s available in Early Access

Visual and UI polish to match the game’s stylized, low-poly look

Performance improvements and bug fixes based on community testing

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access build of Blitzthera is fully playable and already features:

1 map is designed for fast-paced, close-quarters, and mid-range combat

A variety of weapons to test core shooting mechanics

Multiple game modes that highlight Blitzthera’s dynamic teamplay and solo play options

Core class system (with different roles like Soldier, Medic, and Heavy)

Functional UI and menus (though still in progress)

While these features allow players to jump in and enjoy matches, there will still be missing content, ongoing polish, and active balancing during Early Access.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Blitzthera is currently free to play during Early Access.

We may explore new pricing or monetization options at or after full release, depending on community feedback and content expansion.

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The community is at the center of Blitzthera’s development. Here’s how we’ll involve players:

Discord & Community Hubs: Players can join our official Discord server to share feedback, report bugs, and participate in polls.

Playtests & Events: We’ll host community events to test new updates, gather live feedback, and adjust accordingly.

Surveys & Polls: We’ll run polls on maps, balance changes, and features to ensure player voices are heard.

Regular Updates: Development progress will be shared through patch notes, dev posts, and discussions so players know what’s being worked on.
