About This Game

Overview

This game is a remastered version of "The Throne of the Clock," which was originally submitted to the 2024 Korean RPG Maker Game Competition, "1 Chicken RPG Maker Game Jam."

Story

Enoch was once a knight but now lives quietly in a village where humans and demonic coexist.

On his wedding day, he finds his beloved bride stabbed to death with his own sword. Remembering the words of the witch who gave him the sword, "You will have to pay the price," Enoch, filled with rage, rides off.

He heads for the throne of the clock, where the witch, bound by fate, awaits.

Features of the Game

[Story Features]

  • Choices made during the game define the protagonist's personality, both past and present. Through these choices and the final dialogue, you can experience over 10 different endings, each with subtle variations.

  • These choices may be intuitive, like selecting dialogue, or they might come unexpectedly. Who were you, who are you now, and who do you wish to become? The Throne of the Clock is waiting for you!

[Gameplay Features]

  • Combat is real-time field action, though it is not the main focus of the game. In fact, after the first hunt, you can complete the game without killing anyone.

  • Puzzles are intuitive and designed not to interfere with story immersion.

  • The playtime is about one hour, and if you read the dialogue aloud, about two hours, making it ideal for a single livestream session.

Remastered Elements

  • The old turn-based combat system has been replaced with real-time action combat.

  • An "Omake" section has been added, including concept art, jokes, behind-the-scenes stories, and a teaser for the next project, featuring about 400 lines of dialogue. (and FBI may shout "open up!")

  • In certain battles, options have been added that allow you to affect the ending positively without giving up on the fight.

  • Several scenes have been enhanced, added, or adjusted. (For example, the amount of pixel art for the female protagonist has nearly doubled.)

  • Backgrounds, lighting, and weather effects have been enhanced, added, or adjusted.

  • Some puzzle mechanics have been made more intuitive.

  • The default font has been replaced with a more elegant one.

  • In addition to Korean, the game now supports both Japanese and English.

  • Steam achievement added.

  • Various bugs have been fixed. (If you find any, please let us know via the community.)
