“Fishing for Numbers is developed by one person part time. Early access is a great tool to involve the community during development and provide funding to speed up the game development and reach version 1.0 faster.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The goal is to deliver the full version of the game in Q4 2026. Although the timeline may be subject to change.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“There are plans for adding new core mechanics, more objectives, activities and achievements. There are also plans to make the game even more engaging, immersive and fun, by adding an expanded point system to unlock content, and a highscore and leaderboard system.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The fishing and challenge gameplay is playable and quite enjoyable, but there is always room for polish and improvement. With your help, we aim to make this game an engaging, immersive and fun learning adventure.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price will be increased along with the content updates on the road to 1.0 release.”

About This Game

Fishing for Numbers is a vibrant, first-person educational puzzle game where you step into the shoes of an aspiring Mathemagician on a quest to join the prestigious Arcane Anglers Guild. There you can challenge the other guild members in challenges like timed times table solving and equations per minute. Master increasingly harder math equations and catch magical fish to prove your worth and earn your place among the elite!

A unique way to learn math

Use math runes to open portals to extraordinary math dimensions and unleash your fishing spells to summon magical fish. Solve math equations, each correct answer makes the fish bigger! Harvest their math essence to fuel your journey, upgrading your spells and empowering rune stone as you master the art of arcane mathematics! After you get your guild membership, each guild member presents a separate challenge with its own difficulty rating.

Multiple game modes

Pick a game mode that fits the way you want to play. Classic Mode offers a preset challenge designed by the development team. Custom Mode lets you adjust the difficulty and rules to your liking.

The game offers a fun and engaging way to learn math, featuring rewarding visuals, a calming atmosphere, and a satisfying sense of progression and achievement.
