About This Game

Alarion is an aerodynamic flight simulator engineered to translate the raw sensation of common swift (Apus apus), the fastest flying bird in level flight, directly to human experience. Born from years staring up at the summer sky, the game synthesizes biological observation with hundreds of scientific studies on aerodynamics, biomechanics, and sensory perception to balance biological reality with fast-paced flight and survival mechanics.

• 120Hz Asynchronous Aerodynamic Engine: Alarion evaluates thousands of flight parameters per second at 120Hz. In real time, a network of coefficients, torques, and physical forces interact asynchronously to deliver authentic stall dynamics, fluid gliding, and high-speed aerobatics.

• Instinct-Driven Survival: Adapt directly to the swift's daily life on the wing: skim open water mid-flight, track and hunt aerial insect swarms to sustain energy, dive through tight forest canopies, and discover hidden landmarks, while avoiding catastrophic impacts with the terrain.

• Organic Mouse & Keyboard Controls: Designed natively for mouse and keyboard. Command pitch and roll fluidly through intuitive mouse tracking while managing tail deployment, wing bending, flapping, and aerodynamic braking by organically combining keys. After all, built to be easy to learn and hard to master.
