Why Early Access?

“Beat, Heart, Beat is being developed by an entirely volunteer team of 3-5 members. Our intention with Early Access is to build a foundation for supporting the team throughout the rest of the development, all while giving players a hands-on look at our Story Mode and level editor to gather early feedback!”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We will be in Early Access for about a year until full release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version will include the full Story Mode of around 5 chapters, a significant increase in playable levels with three difficulties each, a progression system and improvements to all existing features based on player feedback.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“This version of Early Access includes about 30% of the planned Story Mode content. The bulk of our non-Story gameplay systems, such as the Level Editor + Workshop, UI, and Free Play mode, are already complete and playable, with the future focus being on adding to/polishing said content.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. As the game receives major updates, we plan to slightly increase the price of the full game.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We want your feedback!! While we plan to release the full package eventually, we'll prioritize getting features out that players want to see. We also hope to see lots of fun levels made using the Level Editor. Who knows, some cool charting ideas might make it into the final game!”
