Why Early Access?

“We are a studio of Junior Developers working on our first commercial game - and we need feedback! We are releasing while the game is still in development so the community can help inform us about what they like, dislike, and want to experience in Plantasia. We are also volunteers, so we would love to be able to buy a nice team dinner every now and then!”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We intend to have a relatively short early access phase with full release in Q3 2025.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Among plenty of bug fixes and Quality of Life Updates, the final version of Plantasia is hoped to have many new features. We plan on releasing more plants and hybrids, more crafting recipes, a decoration system, a full story, and display settings customization.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“In the current state of the game the player can grow over 200 different plants, expand their growing capabilities, and customize their plants through the stat booster system. Several NPCs are introduced along with the overall story. A full soundtrack is also available in game, along with the ability to hybridize plants, craft items, and complete small quests.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Due to the introduction of new content and features, the price will be slightly raised at the end of early access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We are active in our official Discord server, where you can ask questions, report bugs, or suggest ideas in the #community-feedback channel, as well as chat with devs and other payers in #plantasia-chat. We are active on our socials as well. During our Demo in Steam Next Fest, we regularly prioritized bugs and features from community feedback and expect to continue this during Early Access.”
