About This Game

Misspell is a 2D action-adventure in the Metroidvania genre. Its plot unfolds on a large island - Melanor, isolated from the rest of the world. Life on the island remained relatively peaceful until the discovery of an unknown magical mineral. Research of it led to a massive catastrophe, causing the disappearance of an entire civilization. You will unveil the mysteries of the past by interacting with the world around you and improving the protagonist's magical abilities. You will move forward, becoming a participant in fateful events for the island.

Dive into the adventure

You will meet allies, discover new locations and immerse yourself in a unique story woven from decisions and events. Explore ancient ruins, mystical forests, deep mines and snowy mountain peaks, using the artifacts you find and the character’s skills to deal with enemies and overcome difficulties. Meet a variety of characters, each with their own unique story, and make decisions that affect the fate of the island and its inhabitants.

Improve your skills

The main character has a unique magical ability - a living vine wrapped around her arm. This mystical vine is able to absorb magical energy and transform into various forms, giving the protagonist new skills and capabilities. Improve the vine's skills and collect ancient artifacts that will help in fights with various creatures and exploration of the game's world.
