Why Early Access?

“After more than **four years of work**, personal sacrifices, and an enormous investment of time, energy, and resources, we have decided that the time has come to put *Spartacus Blood Arena* into the hands of players.

Early Access represents a very deliberate choice for us: **we don't want to wait for years before sharing the project with the community**. We have an important window of opportunity to introduce the game to a wider audience before the release of *GTA VI*, and we believe this is the right moment to begin this journey together with our players.

We are an independent team, and we have built this project while facing enormous challenges and making significant sacrifices. Now, we need our community to help us take the next step.

With Early Access, we want to listen to our players, gather feedback, fix what needs to be improved, and progressively add new content, fighters, game modes, and parts of the story.

**We are not simply asking players to buy a game: we are inviting them to become part of the project and contribute to its growth.**

Our goal is ambitious: to turn *Spartacus Blood Arena* into a great gladiatorial game, built together with its community.

We have already traveled more than four years of this journey. Now, we want to walk the rest of the road together with you.

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan to remain in Early Access **until April 2027**.

These months will be crucial for working together with the community, gathering feedback, improving the gameplay, fixing any issues, and continuing to add new content.

Our goal is to reach April with a major milestone: **to be ready to present you with the first true chapter of Spartacus' story**.

We don't want to simply leave Early Access because a date on the calendar has arrived. We want to use this period to build, together with our players, a solid foundation for what will become the journey of *Spartacus Blood Arena*.

**April 2027 will therefore be a major milestone: the moment when we want to officially open the first chapter of Spartacus' story and begin a new phase of our project.**

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Early Access will represent the first step in the journey of Spartacus Blood Arena, allowing the community to become part of the project while we continue developing it.

Early Access will include:

2 playable gladiators
2 arenas
Dedicated servers for online matches
A Founder Reward, including a special tag displayed next to the player's name
A downloadable digital PDF containing our special thanks to everyone who chooses to support the project from its earliest stages

With Chapter One, planned for April 2027, the game will take a major step forward.

Chapter One will introduce:

The Market, offering new opportunities for interaction and progression
The first chapter of the Third Servile War story, telling the story of Spartacus and his companions as they fight for freedom
2 new arenas
The ability to organize and compete in in-game tournaments directly within the gameplay

Early Access will therefore be the phase in which we build and refine the core of the experience together with the community.

Chapter One, on the other hand, will mark the true beginning of our great Spartacus story.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version of Spartacus Blood Arena will allow players to experience an initial playable version of the project and contribute directly to its development.

At the launch of Early Access, the following will be available:

The Golden Founder Tag is an exclusive recognition for those who support Spartacus Blood Arena during Early Access.

Once the Early Access period ends, the Golden Founder Tag will no longer be available to new buyers.

In other words, those who join the project during Early Access will be recognized as some of its earliest supporters.

Early Access therefore represents the beginning of the journey: we will continue adding content, improvements, and new features throughout development, also thanks to feedback from our community.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. During Early Access, the price of *Spartacus Blood Arena* **may gradually increase** alongside major updates and the introduction of new content.

We have chosen this approach because the game will continue to grow throughout Early Access: new content, new arenas, new features, and, later on, the first chapter of the story.

Those who choose to support *Spartacus Blood Arena* **from the early stages of Early Access will therefore be able to purchase it at the initial price**, before the subsequent price increases.

With the arrival of **Chapter One, planned for April 2027**, the game will reach its **full planned launch price**.

In this way, we want to reward those who believe in the project from the very beginning and choose to join us throughout its development.

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The community will play a fundamental role in the development of Spartacus Blood Arena.

Through our Discord server and all of our social media channels, we want to create a direct and ongoing dialogue with our players. Every piece of feedback, suggestion, constructive criticism, or idea will be carefully listened to and considered.

For us, Early Access doesn't simply mean releasing the game and continuing to develop it on our own. It means building it together with the people who have chosen to believe in our project.

We are an independent studio, and we know very well that every player who purchases Spartacus Blood Arena is investing not only their money, but also their trust in our work. It is precisely thanks to the support of our community that we can continue developing the game, adding content, and aiming ever higher.
