Belatoris is an open-world RPG combining exploration of a procedurally generated world, tactical turn-based combat, and settlement management.

Take command of your own legions, venture into unknown lands, and decide what kind of people your followers will become. Every playthrough creates a new world filled with settlements, caves, dangers, treasures, and events that may shape the fate of the entire region.

Set out with your chosen legion and lead your people through a world filled with danger and opportunity.

Every character has their own equipment, abilities, profession, and role within the group. Develop your heroes, acquire better gear, and build a company suited to your preferred playstyle.

Every new playthrough generates a different land. Settlements, forests, mountains, caves, resources, enemy camps, and unique locations appear in new places each time.

You are not limited to travelling between points on a map. Enter local areas, visit settlements, explore their surroundings, and search for opportunities to gain wealth, supplies, and influence.

Combat in Belatoris takes place in a tactical turn-based system. Character positioning, weapon range, equipment, terrain, and the abilities you use may determine the outcome of each battle.

Face bandits, beasts, monsters, and hostile legions. Not every encounter has to end in bloodshed, however. Sometimes conversation, trade, or the right decision may prove more valuable than drawing a sword.

• Use ranged weapons, magic, and consumable items.

• Make use of each hero's individual strengths.

• Fight in settlements, caves, and open terrain.

• Take risks, but be prepared to face the consequences of defeat.

Help local inhabitants, earn their trust, and increase your renown. Over time, you may take responsibility for developing settlements and turn them into valuable support bases for your legions.

Construct and improve buildings, recruit warriors, expand production, and respond to the problems faced by local communities. Every settlement has its own situation, needs, and attitude towards your legions.

Belatoris is designed as a sandbox in which every playthrough can unfold differently.

Become a mercenary, explorer, merchant, defender of settlements, or leader building a growing sphere of influence. You decide what your legions will stand for and how they will be remembered.

A GAME CREATED WITH PASSION

Belatoris is a solo-developed project that has been in development for almost six years.

The game is being created out of a love for classic RPGs, strategy games, and sandboxes that give players the freedom to create their own stories. My goal is to build a world that does not force you down a single predetermined path, but instead gives you the tools to experience adventures of your own.
