About This Game

THE TOWER TO GOD

In this dark pixel platformer, you play as a survivor and ordinary human being attempting to ascend a tower built by people with endless ambition to reach the divine and god.

Allegedly, they succeeded, but since then, the tower has been bleeding, and the blood causes everything it touches to die. Slowly but surely, this is destroying the world. 

You are one of the few who has not yet given up hope. 

With a golden amulet that can absorb the powers of other brave people who possess god-given artefacts made of gold, you venture on a journey to the top of the tower to put an end to the bleeding of world. 

With every skill absorbed you get more powerful and closer to the top.

But it seems the tower does not want to be reached. It does not want to be ascended.

The journey

Far from the tower, you must fight your way through the wilderness and the environment transformed by the tower.

Near the tower, the blood rain begins; you must adapt to its rhythm and the environment, which reacts dynamically to the rain, in order to pass through.

Inside the tower, nightmares take shape—such as giant blood golems or flying monsters with movement patterns that are difficult to predict.

What will be waiting for you when you reach the top?

To get in the mood:

This is a hardcore experience. 

There is no save game while you try to pass through the levels!

Dying leads to respawning at the beginning of the current level. But that comes with a cost. Your amulet will take damage. When taken too much damage, it will be destroyed, you die and the game is over! 

But don't let that discourage you!

There is a way to heal the amulet and to increase the number of respawns:

By collecting hidden gold fragments, you can heal your damaged amulet! If you’ve already collected a fragment and your amulet is destroyed because you’ve used the “revive” feature too often, the fragment acts as a lifeline! It will be used up, but your amulet will be fully healed in return! The catch: only if you keep all the fragments until the end will you reach the alternative true (!) ending.
