About This Demo

Welcome to the "Don't! Fret" demo. In this demo you will play the opening act, which we hope gives you a taste of what's to come. Our goal for the demo is for the community to explore  the world we are building, experience the beginning of what we believe is an awesome story, and most importantly - give us feedback!!!

There are lots of easter eggs to find and lore to uncover, so be sure to take your time and look EVERYWHERE.

MEET FRET

Play as a guitar named Fret, where guitar strings act as your health bar - also affecting your running speed!

STYLIZED VISUALS

Step into Harmonic Heights and immerse yourself in the distinct, stylized visuals that make Don't! Fret stand out from other indie horror games.

SPECIAL EQUIPENT, INVENTORY & RESOURCE MANAGEMENT

Your music light is more than just a light. It can also be used against enemies throughout the game! You will also find items such as keys, coins and batteries throughout the demo! Batteries act as your ammunition for your equipment, which you will need to manage.

EVADE ENEMIES

In the event you don't have any batteries in your trusty music light, you may hide to take a break from those hunting you! You will also come across "portal doors", which can be used to travel around the map in the event that you need a quick escape.

PUZZLES, PAYPHONES, LORE & MACHINES

Don't! Fret will have puzzles, working payphone to make calls, lore for players who enjoy a rich backstory and machines throughout the world which provide items and health packs.

Thank you for giving Don't! Fret a shot. This is our first game and we are doing our best! We welcome feedback!
