Why Early Access?

“Early access allows us to show the first portion of the game to be viewed and enjoyed by a community to allow for feedback, and to enjoy an initial experience of the game as far as initial features. IT will also provide necessary time to create content for a full version of the game that features more content as far as stages, power ups, monsters, and core mechanic upgrades. Polish and refinement will also be added to the initial showing of the game.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“About 10 months”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The early access version will have approximately one fourth of the amount of total playable content compared to the final version. This is quantified in the amount of playable stages, monsters, gameplay mechanic changes with upgrades and power ups. It is separated into four episode linear experience with the early access version being episode 1. Overall polish of assets will also be more refined as far as visual effects and sounds that do not change the mechanics of the game and playable scope as far as the full version. This changes will also be reflected in the first initial episode as well for consistency and quality.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early access version will start with the first portion of the game in the form of the first "episode", and will have updates featuring new content with additional episodes, 2 and 3. Upon the release of the fourth episode, episode 4, the game will leave early access and become version 1.0 in it's finalized state.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price will be $9.99 USD on Early access launch, and $14.99 USD on Final release when no longer in Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will involve the community by checking the community hub section of Steam for the game on a regular basis. We will take all feedback into consideration to improve the game with the best of our abilities, all while keeping manageable scope and expectations, making sure a quality game is given to the players.”

About This Game

A world shattered, a mission failed.

As a Pyramid Guard, your duty was to prevent this catastrophe.

Now, you awaken to a realm corrupted by Blight; a soul-sucking, spectral energy unleashed by an invading cybernetic Legion. With your kingdom shattered, your only hope lies in recovering the Totem keys: artifacts with the mystical power to banish the Blight - and keep it entombed for eternity.

But you won't face this challenge alone. The fate of your fellow Pyramid Guards is unknown - and some still roam these ravaged lands, united in their quest to banish the Blight for good.
