What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Kaisa: Resurrection is a small but complex game developed by only two people, and it has been in development for over three years before entering Early Access. We believe now is the perfect time to join us, help shape the game, and make it the best it can be. If Early Access isn’t your cup of tea, we completely understand, but please consider adding it to your wishlist!”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We don’t know exactly how long the game will be in Early Access, but we have a clear vision of what it should be. On top of that, we have plenty of extra ideas we’d love to add. It’s just the two of us working on it, and we’ve already put a massive amount of work into the game. Right now all the core functions are in place, but they still need more flesh.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version already contains all the core systems and is fully playable until the first 2 bosses. Our vision for the full release is to expand on this foundation with more content and the true ending to the game.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The core first game loop is fully playable. Most systems are in place, and the game is stable, Of course as this is early access bugs and imbalances might happen.

There is content to discover outside of combat, but the focus is on replayability and tight gameplay. Early Access will allow us to fine-tune balance, add content where it fits, and keep building on the experience based on feedback.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to slightly increase the price when the game leaves Early Access, to reflect the added content and polish.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We’ll be actively reading and engaging on Discord and the Steam forums.
Join us in shaping this game, we are here with ears wide open.

About This Game

"It's tough being the servant of an Evil God"

After the sun sets and the clock strikes midnight, your task begins: you must feed your master before the first light of dawn. How hard can it possibly be to survive the night?...
KAISA: Resurrection is a brutal, strategic roguelite with a dark, culty vibe and a sound-based threat system.

Beware of the Shopkeeper.

Not all entities in the world care for your mission or existence...
Make too much noise at night and find out more about the crushing fist of the Shopkeeper.

Death & Creation

What is death really? When you are in the service of an evil God, it's not without its perks! When you die horribly it's more of an opportunity to be reassembled with new exciting body parts you found on your previous attempt.

Death is not the end, just an opportunity for self-improvement!

Daytime

During the daylight hours when you master sleeps, what you do is up to you. This is a race against the clock. Scavenge the house, acquire upgrades, and perhaps find a way to stretch your freedom from your demanding God.

Just make sure to be back before midnight.

About us:

  • We’re a small, passionate two-man team that has been working hard for over 3 years to bring this game to life.

Björn the programmer: Makes it all run with… dark magic?

    Our Vision

  • Kaisa: Resurrection is ment to be a hard, this is not a straight hack and slash, it's more of a delicate stab in the dark. It’s challenging, bloody, and unforgiving, but every victory is earned.
