Why Early Access?

Early Access gives us the opportunity to develop the experience alongside our community. We want players’ feedback to help us understand what makes those moments work, what needs improving, and where to focus our development efforts.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect StageTime to remain in Early Access for approximately 12 months. The duration may change depending on player feedback, development priorities, and the level of polish and feature completeness we feel is appropriate for a full release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We aim to make StageTime a more polished and varied place to spend time with friends. Our planned areas of development include more social activities, additional ways to personalise your avatar, and improvements to performance, usability, and the overall multiplayer experience. The scope and priorities may change as we learn from players during Early Access.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version offers StageTime’s core social experience: meeting and chatting with other players, customising your avatar, sharing videos, and taking part in performances or enjoying them from the audience.

StageTime is still in active development. Players may encounter bugs, performance issues, and features that need further refinement. Content and systems may change as we respond to feedback.

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to use our Discord community and Steam discussions to hear suggestions, gather bug reports, and learn about players’ experiences. This feedback will help inform development priorities and improvements. We also plan to share development updates and patch notes so players can follow what’s changing and continue the conversation with us.”
