“本作是一款带有些许背包管理玩法的怪物对战自走棋游戏。游戏支持冒险、休闲以及排名模式，敌方阵容其实是其他玩家的异时同步配置。核心玩法上，玩家可以选择有着不同能力的角色作为“宝可梦主人”，每回合通过购买海量特性的怪物组建战斗小队，适时拓宽战斗区域（背包）以容纳更多数量的怪物。角色、怪物、地形以及遗物之间都可以产生各种奇妙的联动。体验上属于那种上手简单，但实战千变万化的游戏。”
