Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Stellar Odyssey will remain in Early Access for roughly 6 months until the game is polished, balanced, and engaging enough to meet both our expectations and those of our community. Our focus is on ensuring that every aspect of the game from exploration and combat to multiplayer interactions is finely tuned and fully realized. We plan to stay in Early Access for around 6 months and be feature complete by December 2026.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version of Stellar Odyssey is planned to be a more refined and feature-rich experience compared to the Early Access version. Our goal is to expand the game’s universe with refined art and 3D components, more varied and complex gameplay mechanics, and a broader range of ships, equipment, and customization options. We also plan to enhance the multiplayer experience, introducing more robust PvP and cooperative gameplay modes, as well as deeper faction and corporation systems.

We intend to polish the game's visuals, optimize performance, and fine-tune the balance across all gameplay elements based on community feedback. New features and content, such as advanced 3D exploration, more detailed trading systems, and additional PvE challenges, are areas we’re excited to develop further.

While we’re dedicated to expanding and improving Stellar Odyssey throughout Early Access, our focus remains on creating a stable, engaging, and immersive space exploration experience. The final version will build on the foundation laid during Early Access, incorporating player feedback to deliver a game that lives up to its full potential.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version of Stellar Odyssey is fully playable and offers a robust foundation for space exploration, combat, and resource management. Players can explore a vast universe, engage in dynamic space battles, mine resources, and trade with other players. Both PvE and PvP gameplay are available, with core systems such as ship customization, multiplayer interactions, and basic faction mechanics already implemented.

While the game is functional and provides an engaging experience, there are still areas in development. Some features are in their early stages, and you may encounter bugs, balance issues, or incomplete content as we continue to refine and expand the game. We're actively working on improving performance, adding more content, and fine-tuning gameplay based on player feedback.

In its current state, Stellar Odyssey is an exciting glimpse into the full experience we’re building, with plenty of content to explore and enjoy, but also with clear areas for growth and improvement as we progress through Early Access.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to gradually raise the price of Stellar Odyssey as we add new content and features throughout the Early Access period. This approach reflects the increasing value and scope of the game as development progresses. Early Access offers players the opportunity to be part of the game’s growth from the beginning, and we believe that the evolving price will fairly represent the expanded content and improved experience in the final version.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback is at the heart of Stellar Odyssey's development. We’re committed to creating an engaging and enjoyable experience, and to achieve that, we need the input of our players. Throughout Early Access, we’ll actively seek feedback on gameplay mechanics, balance, new features, and overall player experience.

We plan to involve the community through:

Regular Updates and Surveys: We’ll release regular updates and post surveys to gather your thoughts on new features, balance changes, and overall gameplay. Your feedback will directly influence our development priorities.

Forums,Discord and Social Media: We’ll be active on our Steam Community forums,Discord and social media channels, where players can share their experiences, report bugs, suggest new ideas, and discuss the game with the development team and other players.

Public Roadmaps: We’ll maintain a public roadmap that outlines our planned features and improvements, giving you insight into our development process and allowing you to provide input on upcoming content.
