Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We aim to release the full version in a period between 6 months to a year from now.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to add more features, such as automated cashiers, garage sales, and collectibles, while also expanding our product range. Listening to community feedback is crucial to our development process, as it helps us organize our feature roadmap and ensure we deliver a fun and polished experience to players.
Also the AI generated images for some of the products and set dressing may be replaced for in-house art, we are a 2 person team (Father and son) and we wanted to test the features and potential final art style with the AI generated images, we intend to replace and create in-house art as much as we possibly can.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current state of the Early Access version of Record Shop Simulator is a robust and enjoyable foundation that includes the core gameplay features. Players can create and customize their own record stores, stock a variety of records and products, engage with customers, and manage their store operations. While the game is fully playable, we are continuously working on adding new features, such as automated cashiers, garage sales, and collectibles. We are also expanding the range of products available and making improvements based on community feedback. Our focus is on polishing the existing gameplay, ensuring stability, and gradually introducing new content and features as we progress towards the full release.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We intend to increase the price (but not by much) of the full release of the game as a thank you to all players that got in earlier during the development of this game.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We intend to listen to reviews, community feedback, and soon we will be creating a Discord server for direct communication with players.”
