Why Early Access?

“The game is perfectly playable in its current state, and Early Access allows me to keep improving it alongside the community. With the game in Early Access I can see how players respond and make nice improvements based on the feedback. I feel like it also encourages me to make more maps and anomalies quicker this way. I can't wait to share all the new planned content with everyone.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I strive to complete the game within 1 to 2 years. This timeline depends on the feedback I receive from players and my own satisfaction with the game’s development.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“My goal is to add a wide variety of maps, each with unique and interesting anomalies to keep the game exciting and replayable. I want Anomaly Company to be highly replayable, with plenty of content to explore. I’ll also be fixing bugs and refining the game’s design to make sure it’s fun for both new and experienced players.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Right now, Anomaly Company is playable with up to 4 players. You can dive into the first map and experience over 45 anomalies. The base gameplay loop is in place, allowing players to enter maps, explore them, and decide whether they’ve encountered an anomaly or not. The core gameplay is solid and already a blast to play with friends or strangers.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“I don't plan to change the price after Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I plan to keep the community actively involved through my YouTube channel, Discord and with a detailed roadmap (Found in the Steam News section). This allows me to communicate directly with players and keep everyone updated on development progress in real time.”

GAMEPLAY

  • 1–4 Player Online Co-Op
    Play solo or with up to 4 players online in a cooperative horror experience. Communicate using voice chat or text chat to analyze environments, share observations, and argue over whether an anomaly is present.

  • Your Job as a Crew member
    Each level begins in a stable state. Memorize the environment, then watch closely as subtle changes, disturbing anomalies, and terrifying events may occur. Decide whether the timeline is safe or must be purged to progress.

A SOLO DEV PROJECT

I’m a solo developer working on Anomaly Company entirely by myself. Every feature, update, and fix is made by me. Because of this, development can be slower than that of a typical game studio—but it also means the game is built with care, passion, and close attention to player feedback.
