Miksi Early Access?

Identifile: Desktop Dungeon is developed by a tiny team passionate about building a like-minded community and incorporating player feedback throughout development. Gathering user input early has been a key part of our development pipeline and instrumental in shaping the game into the experience it is today. During Early Access, we hope to continue collaborating with the community, ensuring that player feedback and suggestions play a vital role in defining the game as we work toward version 1.0.

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

We anticipate that Identifile: Desktop Dungeon will be in Early Access for at least half a year. During Early Access, we plan to regularly update a public roadmap so you can follow along on our journey to the 1.0 release.

Millä tavoin lopullinen versio tulee eroamaan Early Access -versiosta?

The full version of Identifile: Desktop Dungeon is planned to expand on the content. We aim to introduce the final boss and final drive. Additional unlockable content, such as unique cursors, mods and exes will also be included for more gameplay variety. We’re also planning to introduce a corrupted difficulty mode, where enemy attack patterns become more aggressive, offering a greater challenge for experienced players. As development continues, we will continue to refine the existing systems and incorporate community feedback to shape the final scope of the game.

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

The Early Access of Identifile: Desktop Dungeon will feature 12 playable cursors, each with their own unique playstyle. Players can explore up to 4 drives, each with their own visual theme, music, enemies and bosses. A plethora of loot drops like mods and exes to be discovered. A lobby shop will also be introduced for unlockables and cosmetics.

Muuttuuko pelin hinta Early Access -vaiheen jälkeen?

As we continue to develop and expand Identifile: Desktop Dungeon during Early Access, our game's content and value may grow significantly. To reflect these additions, we may consider raising the price at the time of the full launch. We’ll make sure to give our community a heads-up well in advance of any price changes.

Miten yhteisö otetaan mukaan kehitysprosessiin?

We believe in getting user feedback early and often. Throughout Early Access, we plan to provide a few avenues for community's voice to be heard, including a Discord server for game discussions, the Steam forums and an in-game button for quick feedback or bug report submissions.
