About This Game

Blêktre 2081 is an open-world sandbox RPG set in a dystopian future uncomfortably close to our own. You play a migrant arriving in a ruthless turbo-capitalist society where humans themselves have become commodities, somewhere between Soylent Green and South Park.

Explore a fully simulated open city and decide how to survive within it. Find housing, develop your character, earn money, gain influence — or break into someone else’s apartment just to take a shit on their carpet. Every approach is part of the same systemic world.

Build your place in Blêktre by taking on countless roles: beggar, corpse-collecting worker, predatory entrepreneur, business robber, cop enforcing order on demo players, or ultimately President, empowered to rewrite the laws governing the world itself — even deciding whether the game should become free.

The persistent shared world can be played entirely solo while remaining continuously shaped by other players’ actions, allowing cooperation, rivalry, or complete independence inside the same evolving city.
