Backstory

Twenty years ago, scientists discovered a miracle fuel that doesn't burn but gives off infinite energy. It could have been a leap to space—but instead fueled militarization. The Cold War never ended. It became eternal.

Every citizen was promised a chance at salvation. Residential buildings were equipped with evacuation pods. No one knew when Doomsday would come, but everyone was getting ready.

The moment has come. Sirens howl. The building is filling with toxic fuel. You are one of eight residents who overslept the evacuation. Only one pod remains. It doesn't wait for the best—only for the last.

Deathmatch Roguelike

Bashnya is a competitive stealth roguelike where players fight each other for the only way out. With each cycle, your character grows stronger—but death resets everything.

Each hero, a different strategy

Choose your hero—silent and stealthy, or loud and powerful. Sneak and hide, or break through everything to reach the final door.

Procedural Destruction

Every building in Bashnya is procedurally generated and almost fully destructible. No run ever plays out the same: walls collapse, floors cave in, the path to safety constantly shifts.

Find and use unique items that twist the world’s logic, changing how you fight and survive.

Global morality system

Every action tilts the world’s balance between trust and fear, subtly reshaping everyone’s experience.

Sovietpunk

The game reflects a mix of late-Soviet life, lost 90s heroes, strange new technologies, and post-punk music that captures the defiance and decay of the era.
